Waiting to Exhale: Glamour magazine and the non-size-zero woman

By Voxy

This blog post from Big Fat Deal says everything I could want to say about the push to expand the range of body sizes seen in fashion and beauty magazines, as exemplified by Glamour, who perhaps didn’t know what they were getting into when they published a nude photo of a woman who actually owns a fold of skin.

I’d love to hear your comments. Like Jenfu, I’m afraid to trust.

Loonlady hit the nail on the head.
Besides Lane Bryant, Marina Rinaldi has very stylish clothes for the curvy lass. let’s see some of those clothes featured too.

I have my doubts about Glamour’s sincerity, too. When the ADS that fill their pages start featuring non-stick-figures, I might be more inclined to believe them (Glamour). It’s one thing to say that the magazine will feature more “full-figured” models in the future, and another to back that up with ad revenue generated by ad space sales to Lane Bryant, etc.
