However, since many of us who post here are people who rely on clear written communication to do their jobs (and who experience daily frustration when student writing that is not clear or properly formatted crosses their desks), I do ask that your comments conform to standard spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.

(Seriously? Yes, I’m quite serious. We aim for a higher level of commentary than can be found on your average internet website.)

Spam and comments with profanity or personal attacks will be unceremoniously deleted. (If you are tempted to make personal attacks on someone based on a makeup and skincare blog, you are taking all of this too much to heart anyway.)

    Great site! There was an article in Inside Higher Ed a couple years ago that said that professors are the worse dressers. I would agree that some of the woman whom I see at academic conferences could benefit from updated professional-looking clothing and makeup. Thanks for all the good advice here.
